VAL Celes
VAL Celes is daughter of Esp Estel O de F, a sire born in England and exported to the Valviejo breeding stud in Spain.
The mother, VAL Persa, is an extraordinary dam of spanish bloodlines.
For many years, stories about the mares of the Duke of Veragua bore a special magic to me. I have always admired these lineages. Then, in the 90s, I saw a VHS tape of "El Perfecto" and the idea of getting access to these genetics formed in my mind. Her pedigree speaks for itself, combining a classic harmony of spanish lines.
When I saw VAL Celes, I immediately thought that she is just the kind of mare to incorporate into our breeding program. She fits perfectly into the type we are looking for to enhance the maternal lines of our ZT mares as well as the ones of Tia Rakras and MY Sura.
