At Flor de Romero we say, that in first line we have two strong maternal pillars. The first one is MY Sura through her daughter Mistura (who never gave us a colt),
the second one is Tia Rakras (who has only given us two fillies).
Tia Rakras is the mare that has been EVERYTHING for us, the most adorable and expressive. The mare that makes it impossible to pass by her without turning around to look at her again and when she sees you, she neighs. Beautiful allover, she really makes me feel alive. She moves like no other, took us up the mountains, to the sky and to endurance races. Over time, the connection with her grew to be extremely special.
Bred by Malena Braun from Haras Tio Pancho her pedigree speaks for itself and whatever we say to try and describe her, we always fall short, there are no words to do her justice. Mother and grandmother of our sires and of the one mare who continues her maternal line, FM Lays Lilbaye ("Not for Sale" in arabic language).
