Frangelino

Frangelino Pedigree

Flor de Romero opened its Anglo-Arabian registry in the SOFO ("Sociedad de Fomento Agrícola", Society of agricultural development) in 1996 with the mare Nadi FSC. After that other selected FSC mares were added. For several years we were searching for a FSC stallion that would meet a series of qualities that we were looking for to incorporate into our Anglo Arabian breeding program. So in 2017 we found Frangelino, a sire that not only met our expectations but has now certainly exceeded them.

He is a well-behaved and gentle stallion, descendant of Secretariat, extraordinary lines within what we were hoping for, with excellent structure and conformation. Frangelino ran 37 races, 15 Classics and retired from the racetracks in perfect condition without any injuries. He was always the largest in his categories, weighing an average of 535 Kg, grey, 1,76 meters tall. His two brothers raced 78 and 39 races respectively. Long-living and very healthy horses with extended careers, excellent hooves and gentle characters, virtues that are not very common in racehorses. A story which took more than 15 years to find its prince charming.
