Welcome to Haras Flor de Romero

Haras Flor de Romero is a family run stud farm in the south of Chile. We have always been close to horses. Our main intention in breeding is producing horses for riding as well as for competitive sport, all in communion with the beauty of the Arabian horse. We have turned our passion into our work and have been breeding, training and competing horses for more than twenty-five years, complementing this activity with Veterinary Medicine and guidance in different areas of the equestrian industry both nationally and internationally.

At Flor de Romero it is impossible not to recognize the impact of the Spanish lines of the stud farm Valviejo (by Cristina Valdés Colón de Carvajal), added to ZT Arabians (by Count Federico Zichy Thyssen), the impact of Adel (by Gabriel Pérez) and Fernando Saenz H (Haras Valdeosera). Also the cooperation with Haras San Ignacio from José Miguel and Martín García played an important part.

All of our breeding base was carefully selected by thoroughly studying their genetics and conformation. Through all these years we have achieved a characteristic type of Flor de Romero that completely fulfills us.
